A long, long time ago there lived a boy named Harry Potter. He had this devastatingly tragic life, all made better by a loyal and trusting rapport he had with his best friend Hermione Granger. Little did they know, the loving friendship they shared would turn into something more because of course, there are some things you can't share without liking each other, and knocking out a 12-foot mountain troll is one of them.

Good. Lord.

First off, I loved the D/E stuff! I think I rate that my number one because, unlike R/Hr vs. H/Hr, there is no controversy.

Second, the H/Hr interaction just keeps going.

Why is it that everyone involved in the film keeps talking about R/Hr, but Harry and Hermione can't keep their hands off each other? (And I ain't talkin' about Dan and Emma here! I'm talking about scripted H/Hr moments.) Have you noticed how many icons and avies of H/Hr touching we have that have been taken directly from the movies, while the Kickers only have the "hug" from PoA - the one where Harry joins in? I can't think of another R/Hr moment where they actually touch - except for the handshake in CoS. Oooh "tension." [/sarcasm]

Third... the "special" sucked. I thought it was great that they showed the entire film (deleted scenes and all), but I was really disappointed that they didn't have the Trio together talking about the making of CoS like the did with PS/SS.

I think that they didn't do it exactly like when the Trio hosted PoA because I think they're not letting Dan and Em flirt again in front of the camera. Everyone caught the little glances!

AND OMG DAN AND EMMA DANCING. Wow. I LOVE it. I KNEW there was going to be something like this. I mean they could be dancing because
1) they were practicing while the cameras were off
2) they were being filmed and part of the choreography meant that the champions would change partners at some point in the dance.

BUT I DON'T care which one it is ---- I got what I wanted --- to see Dan and Emma dance together. And it's a WALTZ. I hate the waltz (I prefer the much bouncier and faster foxtrot and salsa) but Emma didn't seem at all nervous when it was Dan. She didn't look nervous and she wasn't looking at her feet. And *chuckles* it's cute how Dan asked Shefali, "You trust me, don't you?" and winked at her --- he didn't have to joke like that around Emma cause *lol* he didn't have to joke around with her to ease up the tension and nervousness!!!!

I have a theory has to why they didn't have the trio taking about the making of CoS like they did for PS/SS. Dan and Emma's natural chemistry came bouncing off the screen in the special of PS/SS. It was as if Rupert wasn't in the room at times and that wasn't good way to promote the R/HR "tension" the WB was pushing in POA. So the studio decided not to have the trio do a memory thing for CoS to limit D/E's vibes and have people who don't ship either couple believe their line about "tension" between R/Hr.

BTW-

I totally forgave Emma for all her R/Hr comments when she basically dismissed the R/Hr scenes as "comic relief."

So R/Hr is funny... and H/Hr is soul-deep. Yeah. I can live with that.
