I'm just watching PoA and just now there was the scene where Harry uses Hermione's wand to "disarm" Snape. I find it interesting that first of all, Harry can USE Hermione's wand and second of all, look at the POWER it caused! I mean, the Expelliarmus charm only disarms, yet Snape was blown through the room and flew through wood where he remained unconscious for gods sake! I betcha anything that this was also one of the forshadowing clues JKR talked about.

I have been wondering about that from the first time I watched the movie. When Snape uses the Expelliarmus on Sirius, all it does is make Sirius' wand fly away. When Harry uses it on Snape, he's knocked out! I'm not sure if I remember this right, but wasn't it different in the book? Didn't Harry, Hermione and Ron disarm Snape at the same time? That would explain the force of the spell. But there was no sign of all three of them using the spell in the movie. They couldn't have, since Harry uses Hermione's wand. I never thought of it as a clue. But maybe you are right. Maybe it does forshadow things to come. Hm... we'll see. 6 months and 6 days to go 'til book 6.

So, recapping, the magical elements that have a bond with Hermione and her personality are her wand and Crookshanks, correct? Crookshanks purs and jumps on Harry's lap and wounds himself around Harry's leg and overall gives Harry some lurving. Hermione's wand on Harry's hand not only works, but happens to produce a kickass spell. Sounds like a pretty good combo to me.

Okay, moment of squeeage:

OMGWFTHGHAUEHA! TAR! That manip... those manips... oh, the love, the love!! *joins the list of people who want to marry Tar and have her artistic babies*

New thread, new thread! *Dancing the Auror dance!*

Harry's power just thrills me...he's such an incredible wizard, I mean when you think of all he's done, especially in POA where he conjured a Patronus and blowing Snape practically through a wall using Hermione's wand, I mean that's amazing. I'm not sure about wizard's using other wizard's wands, I mean obviously it can be done but you would think their power would be LESS, cause "the wand chooses the wizard". Their magic is channeled through their wand so you would guess that their magic would be strongest with their own wands. But Harry can do it no matter what! He just totally blows me away with his power and magical ability. And we all know how amazing Hermione is. She might think her abilities are all "books and cleverness" but her love for Harry brings out the power in her that she has. Every book she has gotton stronger and stronger and it's all due to her wanting to protect Harry and fight by his side.

It's just incredible to me that not everyone who reads HP can't see the amazing relationship that is Harry and Hermione. Especially in OotP. Maybe those of us that "get it" just have our brains tuned differently. Hopefully on the same wavelength as JKR!!

Harry using Hermione's wand: Well Snape had to be knocked out because that happens in the book...but I just find it funny that Alfonso choose to direct it as Harry's hand slithering across Hermione's back to slowly remove the wand from her hip pocket and have only Harry cast the spell...*shivers* And did anybody else notice Hermione's arm slowly moving away from her side so Harry could access it?

Total. Goosebumps.

It must have been some turn on for Hermione to see Harry cast a patronus

@Tar: I just saw your artwork or Manip of H/Hr from last thread. You are genius!! H/Hr they are most sexy couple ever. You know that pic of H/Hr "almost kiss" it not really "Manip" is it. It was real they were that close to kiss in movie....

I know?...I was wondering. After I saw that "Making of POA" from DirectTV. That part of interview from Emma when she was talking about "how all of these people she get along with and how they were there at beginning, how those people understand her" and at same moment they show her giving Daniel that cake and scene of H/Hr "stand close together talking"
I was curious what "people" are she talking about. Do she really means "Daniel" of all people, he there for me from beginning and he really UNDERSTAND ME"

I mean if she were talking about all of "these people" and they only show part whre she is giving "daniel" that cake and that lovely H/Hr scene. Why can she mention "Daniel"

I thought that part of interview little strange and interesting.

So what do you guys think?...
