I'm just reading GoF and I'm not so certain of H/Hr anymore. I mean, objectively speaking, it does seem that Hermione is upset that Ron never asked her to the dance. I wasn't worried about Ron's jealousy, because Hermione never really reacted to it, but now she did, and that worries me. I haven't read the fifth book yet, but I hope there'll be something that gives me faith again...

I think I need a hug.

I was just reading an anti-H/Hr comment at the "Couples you don't like" thread, and I'm impressed at the totally wrong and misunderstood concept most of the people have of LOVE. I know I shouldn't care, but I'm getting tired of all this "H/Hr would be a boring couple" stuff.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
iddiot!!..some people are just plain iddiot!!...that all I have to said. If they think?...H/Hr ship is boring..then I WANT TO BE BORING. It better then being "hate" or "annoying" just like R/Hr..ship is.

Aww. Nora...your faith will be restored. I felt the same way when I read GOF...but by the end of it, I was soo happy. Cat, do you have a screename? Hey, when you're done falling off the cliff, you can be saved by angel and harry!

About H/Hr being "boring": yeah, RIGHT. Actually what bores me to death since book 1 is R/Hr not being able to exchange 2 sentences without bitching and bickering. I mean, what IS that? Banter can be funny, but that's not even banter anymore, they're just plain MEAN to each other. And that's supposed to be a foundation for romance? Yeah, right. In an alternate universe....maybe.

Rant over.

Nora: I kind of know what you mean. I actually just finished re-reading GOF last night and I will admit, the R/Hr stuff can be a little depressing to an Auror. But have heart. I definitely recommend you read OOTP asap. It is the Auror bible and it will give you hope!

Honestly, I feel that whatever there is beween R/Hr is temporary. It is nothing compared to the strong, deep and wonderful connection that Harry and Hermione have developed over the years - that is strengthened in so many ways over time and that will only become stronger!

Wow, wasn't meaning to start rambling like that!

Cat: I have the soundtrack list saved on my computer. Yes, I am an organizational freak!

Took the words out of my mouth, Delilah! Wonderfully put!

ETA: Anyone knows where I can find good-quality caps of the ending of PoA? Can be either H/Hr together laughing at the hospital wing or the feather scene. Please?

Delilah: Thanks for trying to cheer me up. It worked a little. As you said, it's just depressing. I mean, you see these sweet wonderful moments H/Hr share in PoA and then I read this childish crap in GoF. I just really hope JKR knows what she's doing.
