| Okay I've read this a lot of times now and I just need your opinion on it: In OotP, after Hermione kisses Ron on the cheek and tells him "good luck", she says "And you, Harry-" Usually the "-" indicates that someone gets cut off by someone else saying something, but in the book, nothing comes after that! No one interrupts her, so what was it that cut off her sentence? People have a theory that she gave Harry a kiss, too. I think it's definitely possible (since she's used to kissing Harry by now ). I honestly can't think of another reason why she suddenly stops talking. Why didn't JKR word it "And you, too, Harry!" That I would understand. So what's with the "-"?What do you think? | |||

| Nora- I think Hermione didn't kissed Harry... But was about to, but because of her feelings for Harry maybe she didn't? Tension?Grasping straws again?Because the dash seems to represent a pause... Quote:

|  Just got back from seeing PoA again. There were a few things I thought were cute but I never really noticed them before: - the way Hermione looked at Harry when they found out that Sirius was at Hogwarts. Harry was in shock and Hermione totally searched his eyes, looking terrified and putting her hand on his back. That was sweet. - Lupin telling Harry about his parents. I think someone mentioned this before, but I, too, loved it how the description of Lily TOTALLY fit Hermione and how Harry smiled at this. And since he's obviously like James... - the hand holding! Dude, if there's two people who couldn't keep their hands off each other, it's Harry and Hermione! They held hands even when they didn't have to. Then there was all the grabbing and pulling... Oh my. Also - and I really don't mean to bash - but is it just me or is it like...against Ron's beliefs to keep his mouth shut for ONCE? I mean, no matter what Hermione says or does, he always needs to have his snarky comment. That pretty much got on my nerves and no, this is not friendly teasing anymore, because he even does it when Hermione isn't even around. This "love/hate" relationship is bordering on ridiculous, especially since the "love" part doesn't even seem to exist. Aside from that - and I can't say this enough - I just love how well H/Hr work as a team. They just rock, plain and simple. | |||
