Little did they know, the loving friendship they shared would turn into something more because of course, there are some things you can't share without liking each other, and knocking out a 12-foot mountain troll is one of them.

At the E-W boards they posted some made up interviews of D/E and I so wanna post one of 'em since they had me laughing my ass off.

Do you have to highlight it first? I'd love to start a thread, it was driving me crazy that we didn't have a thread after they closed ours but I knew I'd mess it up!

And Nora, weren't those fake interviews great? I was splitting my sides laughing at 'em! There's some funny folks on that thread! Of course D/E gives us perfect fodder for the jokes we come up with..."she'smorelikeasistertomethananythingelse"! Yeah, Dan, keep talking!

I also loved the one where they showed the pic of Emma "fixing" Dan's hair during POA and the caption said:

You click on Reply With Quote at the bottom right of the first post. This takes you to the contents of the post itself. You just highlight all this, right click with your mouse and select Copy. Then you click Start New Topic at the top of the first page of the forum, right click in the box where the message goes and select Paste

Just remember to take out the Quote tags at the beginning and end of the post. Then fill in the title, click Submit New Thread and voila! Shiny new Aurorness!

And now it's your turn to help me! Where is this D/E thread you're on about. I can't seem to find it

Okay, Aurors, here's something I hope you guys will give me some feedback on...

I was over at CIBM LJ and a post there got me thinking...I know this has probably been discussed before but hey, let's talk about it again, okay?

Do you think the primary motivation for the R/Hr shippers is Ron's happiness?

I get the feeling that most R/Hr shippers want to make sure that RON gets what he wants...they feel he loves Hermione, or crushes on her at least and that she should wake up and realize that she loves him, too. Never mind that she's too busy falling in love with Harry!

I'm not saying that the R/Hr shippers don't like Harry, I think they do, I just think that a lot of them aren't concerned with what would make Hermione (or Harry for that matter) happy.

All the bickering between R/Hr...can't they see that's it's not playful banter, it's not repressed love, it's genuine friction between Ron and Hermione and not the good kind! Like Belle said, opposites attack!

It was also mentioned that having Harry and Hermione fall in love "elevates her above Ron." So? Isn't that what happens? Young men have their mates (male friends) but when they fall in love, their male friends take a back seat. Or they should. What's wrong with Hermione becoming such an important character in the book? I don't think JKR is writing her to be some token girl...she's given her character spunk and intelligence and she's the "brightest witch of her age"! I'd say she's pretty important already!

Harry is the focus of the book, what happens to him and his happiness is what matters most. I know we H/Hr shippers really love Harry and we also want him to be happy. But it's clear to me that Hermione's happiness matters, too, and Harry makes her happy. Ron makes her cry. I want Ron to be okay, too, I like him, I really do. But I don't think having Hermione fall in love with him is going to make him happy...not really. They are just so completely different and there's hasn't been, imo, very much evidence that they really lust after each other...Hermione's too busy clutching and grabbing Harry.

Hermione wants Harry...mind, body, and soul.

Amazing post, Sharon. I always got that impression. I've heard a lot of them say that Ron has to get Hermione because Harry already has everything. They basically argue like Ron did in GoF. WORD! Remember how pissed JKR reacted when she was asked if she was gonna introduce a strong female in the books? She was all "Isn't Hermione strong enough already?!"

I don't see the problem in Hermione becoming more important to the story than Ron, either. Hell, I think OotP pretty much established that, anyway.

that interview is hilarious too haha. the interviewer was trying to ask about the actress that played padma but all dan was thinking about was emma, that awesome. well that lets us know that they do dance together in the movie and that if they aren't together yet, dan definitely has the hots for emma. haha thats awesome.
