A long, long time ago there lived a boy named Harry Potter. He had this devastatingly tragic life, all made better by a loyal and trusting rapport he had with his best friend Hermione Granger. Little did they know, the loving friendship they shared would turn into something more because of course, there are some things you can't share without liking each other, and knocking out a 12-foot mountain troll is one of them.

Because based on the interview, we were right all along in that Hermione *was* the perfect girl for Harry .... BEFORE she was possessed by something in HBP and basically switched bits of personality with Ginny. *snerks* Gradually notice my butt. She basically described Hermione to a T, except that she switched the name to GINNY. Ginny had to be made out to have the attributes Hermione has that made Hermione memorable to Harry so that Harry will notice Ginny. But since most of the feeling about H/G being mostly out of nowhere, I'd say Jo was off the mark on ths one...... and for the record? Ginny showed none of the attributes Jo said she had .... come on, Ginny was ACTING (I didn't say she is, so this sin't character bashing, per se) aggressive, abrasive, gutsy and just plain really tactless in Six.... how is that compassionate and warm? And *snorts* tough in a not unpleasant way? Please, Ginny was acting gratingly brash on OotP, how is that pleasant? And Harry needed someone who was terrified of him in the beginning who'll develop as someone perfect for him as opposed to someone who stood by his side all this time to the best of her capability? *snerks* Good god, she does need to reread her own books, not us, I think. If that's her version of what someone needs in a growing relationship, then I don't buy that version, honestly.
