Any rituals etc. for upcoming book?

I myself began rereading the Harry Potter series last night in preparation for the oncoming of the new book (yeeeeeeeee!!! - so excited!), which I do everytime I new one comes out (so far I've timed it out pretty well so that I finish the series a day or so before the release of the newest book). I'm thinkin' I may start a new tradition of watching the movies too, I dunno.

Anyone else do anything fun like that?...well, I guess mine's not really fun, lol...

I'm currently re-reading OotP for like...the one billionth time. Other than that I won't really have any rituals, more like...preparations, if you will. I'm gonna have to try and stay calm when I get my hands on the book. LOL I'm so excited that I'll most likely pass out right there in the book store.

I reread all the HP books once (including Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch), but now I'm rereading them again for clues! I'm also going to watch all the movies, especially since J.K. said that the PoA director accidentally hinted at things to come in future books. And on the day the book is coming out I'm going to Barnes and Noble to get it for midnight. But I am not reading it right away. I am going to sleep first, because I'd rather read it without interruption than fall asleep in the middle of it at 5am or something.

For ootp I re-read ALL the books but since Ive re-read all the books when the movies came out too I only wanted to read the ones that wern't fresh in my mind so I read Gof and Ootp. I've watched the movies tons this summer cause I hadn't watched them in awhile, lol that and I was too lazy to change the DVD I'm gonna go watch PoA since apparently their are hints to the other books hmm...

I just bought SS in Spanish! I'm eventually studying abroad in Spain, so I figure why not work on your abysmal Spanish skills by reading something you love (and just happen to have almost memorized, so if you don't know a word you can figure it out). I don't think I'll finish by the time HBP comes out, but I'm vowing to finish all 6 in Spanish by the time #7 comes out...

I'm rereading GoF and OotP, and once I get my hands on HBP I'm gonna bawl my eyes out right there in the bookstore, lock myself in some room in seclusion, and stay up until its finished.

Well... this is the first time I experience the release of a Harry Potter book as a fan (I got into HP about 3 weeks after OotP was released). So there are no rituals concering the release of the book. But I have re-read all the books at least once a year.

If you made that icon let me know. I'd be happy to credit you!

I think with Ootp I read it too rushed to find out the big ending so i missed a lot of things in the middle and when i reread it i was like woah that happened? so with HBP im gonna take it slower.
