Snapped by a confused and afraid Narcissa Black, circa 1974, as the two observed a muggle city. Andee had snuck off from a family vacation to meet Ted, and Narcissa and Bellatrix had followed. Luckily Narcissa got there first, and kept Bella away that day. She couldn’t keep her away forever.

Being the Black Sheep of the family has never been more meaningful to Andromeda than in her last year of Hogwarts. After seeing the extent of cruelty her family has been involved in the summer before seventh year, she has decided to leave her family, following Sirius’ steps. For this same reason, Andromeda seems to be spending more and more time outside Slytherin with a muggleborn, Ted Tonks.
To her, Ted has been more than a friend…She was her rescuer. Without him, Andromeda would have never been able to have the will of leaving her family. Thankfully, for now, she has Hogwarts as a home and then, after, she is determined in moving out and not having anything to do with the Blacks, counting on Ted’s help. During this thinking process, however, she also found something more. She has grown feelings for Ted. More-than-a-friend sort of feelings. Although she wants to shake them off for his own safety, they seem to be more powerful than her. Still, Andromeda is determined in keeping these feelings a secret, knowing that Ted deserves much more than anything she can offer.
Andromeda is the most compassionate Slytherin to ever exist. Despite all she has gone through, she is strong and forgiving. Although no one knows where she acquire such characteristics, but Sirius Black was one of the first to notice and has encouraged her to leave the family ever since.

Fact #1: Andromeda has an unusual fear of darkness from being locked in a closet as punishment when she was a child.
Fact #2: Although she wants nothing to do with bloodpurists any longer, she is smart enough to put a facade in order to protect herself and Ted.
Fact #3: She has a special dislike for Alecto Carrow and Lucius Malfoy.
