I wonder how often this family goes on trips abroad though that would be expensive if all 7 children are coming along.

Honestly, it really expensive bec the last time my parents took all of us to PR even it just my father who's working, so he been saving up to stay w/ my other family members in PR, so it just once a year or in ever two-four years.. It hard to do it all that if it's present bec of plane tickets, where you stay, etc, etc..

That's true especially if you have a large family. Add to that the expense that you'll spend for food, lodging, daily activities, etc. It's definitely not cheap.

Yup even tho I was surprise on how large family who are middle-class, but only if one parent go to work while other take care of others can able to survive but as long they have supporting system..

Or if some of the older children take part time jobs. Both my parents come from a large family. My dad have 6 siblings and my mom 7. Add to that we live in a poor country so whatever my grandparents earned back then, they made it work. But also because life is much simpler (and cheaper) back then compared to now.
