Hearing the words "president" and "Bush" in the same sentence generally has me screaming at the radio. I imagine my wrath will only be eased when those words are preceded by "impeached" or "indicted" or my favorite, "former".

Wow -- this is interesting. I loved the original 3 STAR WARS movies, but now I'm sitting here and no character is jumping out with, "Oh, I LOVED that character!" It was the whole package that I loved. But clearly the actors were a part of it, because I haven't been able to even deal with the few clips I've seen of the newer films. Let me think about it.

Ah, but I care for Bill that much! And I have a background in theatre, so I LOVED seeing the mechanics of how a television show is filmed. I had a wonderful time poking around and meeting the various techies -- all of whom had an extremely high opinion of Bill and his professionalism.

Bill and I "met" via phone call when he called and said he was looking for someone to help him come up with a web page. He was just BARELY getting online (on an ancient Mac Quandra) but he heard about Rene Auberjonois' website when he was filming an episode of DS9, and he thought that might be a fun way to connect with his fans. As it happens, the president of Rene's fan club was on the set that day, and gave Bill my contact information. So he called me and I agreed to work with him to come up with a nice website for him. During the process we discovered that we had a whole lot of stuff in common, and we just hit it off well. Consequently we became very good freinds before we actually met in person, when Bill had a layover for several hours in Chicago. He brought me two Roswell High School Athletic Department t-shirts. I met him as he came off the plane with a kiss on the cheek.

I had told him before, when he asked how he'd know me, that I'd just throw grapes at him. (Apparently this was an attention-getting device used with some regularity between certain cast members on the Roswell set.) So I met him with a kiss on the cheek and told him to "consider himself graped". We've been buddies ever since.

NO!! Not at all! My favorite Star Trek characters would be Odo and Kira!

I mean, Sloan was way too Republican for me.

That's very interesting how you and Bill met...

Is there anyone you haven't met that you would really like to?

Let's see -- I met Senator Paul Simon not long before he passed away, and I've met Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. I would be awed and thrilled to meet Jimmy Carter. He's a genuinely good man, and I think those are rare in politics.

As far as actors go -- I'd like to meet Martin Sheen, probably because I like his politics. I don't normally go looking to meet actors, because I'm always afraid they'll turn out to be *******s.
