They never did.
The didn't even tell if she died or did she just leave. And Amy, Maria just said "Out of town" in Behind the music. Well, there's one fic (at the site I gave you) where Jim&Michelle are in touch and Kyle finds out about it *shrugs* __________________

We don't know. As well as many other things. That's bad the show was cancelled, we have no way how to learn more.

Well, then we will just have to use our imaginations. In my "Continuing Adventures of Roswell", Amy had really been abducted by agents of Khivar, but no one realized that. Until Jim became suspicious...I mean, what?!! No Amy at Maria's graduation....did a little investigating. Enlisted some help from the Pod Squad....and voila....Amy rescued and back in Roswell....feeling oh,so grateful to Jim!

I thought hooking Jim up with Amy was a brilliant idea. I just wish they would have done it sooner. After he discovered the truth of course.

Amy DeLuca", Or Maria's mom, from 'Roswell' is now in the gritty but very good new show on FX (Wed night at 10 and a repeat at 11) 'Rescue Me' as the station house's first female firefighter.
Wonder if there's a part for Bill? He'd make a very believable fire fighter,I think. |

Hmm, Imagine if Jim and Amy would've gotten married and how Maria and Kyle would've reacted

Blended families...I always think of that. It would have been so sweet and hilarious, too. I am sorry that did not come to pass.

Can you see Kyle going into protective brother mode over Maria and Michael's relationship? He'd no doubt want to give Michael the "Shovel talk" (as in "Treat my sister right or I'll hit you with a shovel while you sleep! ). And I think Maria would be a bossy sister to Kyle...lots of room for comedy there.

I remember Alex protecting Maria, Kyle protecting Tess, I'd bet he would become a protective brother to Maria too.

There was once jokingly talk of a spin-off show called "Valenti & Son. I think it was going to be about Jim starting a detective agency with Kyle. If he were also married to Amy at the time,I can see Amy & Maria trying to stick their noses into the cases and maybe being instrumental in sloving a lot of them. That would be funny.
I can dream,can't I?!! |

Personally, I always thought that the idea of Valenti and Son was a lot of fun, although it would have meant spinning off Roswell's two best actors.
