I've actually got them a volunteer job (now that they know how to do balloon animals). My daughter works at a movie theater where they run a program for young kids. I ratted Jake out to her and now she has him and his posse penciled in for "free entertainment".

Ah, family. The tie that binds -- and sometimes chaffes!

Well, they are all getting tired working at fast food places and are thinking of applying to the movie theater. She will probably have the say so in that...so this would be a nice way to get her on their side.

One hand washes the other.

Glad to entertain.
I think going to the beach for my birthday may not quite work out. A little bit of wind called "Katrina" is heading my way. Means another trip to the store to stock up on supplies...................................again.

No,I live in Florida...the hurricane capital of the world. I'm still cocky about it though because I have never suffered major damage. I did have a tree fall on the roof last summer but it didn't go through so there was only the paying to have it chopped up and hauled off,no real property damage.

I'm sure Central Europe is fabulous..but what would I do for language? I only speak English and am not a fast learner about other languages. (I found this out for sure when I lived in Japan for 3 years and tried to speak Japanese....wakarimasen Nihon-go.
