Oh, the world of Twitter, where celebrities keep their stalker fans happy and following with 140-character teases into their lives in the hopes they will reveal something new, exciting and exclusive.

Twitter followers of “Dollhouse” star Eliza Dushku were lucky enough to be graced on June 4 with such news when she posted that she would be coming to Boston to film a new movie. News has since leaked that it’s called “Valediction,” and co-stars “The Chronicles of Narnia” babe Ben Barnes, but MTV got the chance to chat with Eliza to find out what exactly “Valediction” is all about.

“It’s about this young couple and they have a 6-year-old daughter, seemingly in a coma, but [they learn] she’s actually alive and fully living out in her brain, but is just in this locked-in state,” Eliza explains. “So he’s trying to have his daughter wake up from this traumatic experience.”

The film centers around a car accident Josh (Ben) has which leaves his daughter Brooke in a coma. But there’s more to the crash than meets the eye, according to Eliza, who adds that the film is being characterized as a “contemporary psychological thriller.”

Eliza plays Renee, Josh’s former co-worker who he had an affair with. Josh, who left his advertising gig to settle down with his wife (Sarah Roemer) and daughter, is feeling trapped by his life when the film begins — right before Renee reenters into his life, and the accident occurs.

“[Josh] sort of meets up with Renee and wonders what would have happened if he went that route. It really is about his struggle both with these women in his life and then with his daughter who’s been injured,” notes Eliza. “It turns into a really psychological chaos.”

The film is directed by Suri Krishnamma and will co-star Brenda Fricker, Johnny Whitworth and Dennis Haysbert. Eliza said it was a combination of the script, Krishnamma and her castmates that cemented her desire to be in the film.

“It just seemed to me that there weren’t stories that were about young people but were adults that were dealing with these struggles,” she said of her new project, which is slated to hit theaters next year. “It seemed to me like a more sophisticated character that I wanted to sort of take a stab at.”

So what does everyone think of Valediction? I think that it has plenty of potential, mainly with the plot around the comatose daughter and Eliza as the other woman.

It sounds interesting. But I was kind of hoping Eliza would be the wife/mother. It would've been something different for her.

Yeah the wife/mother role would`ve been one where Eliza would really get to showcase her talent. However the other woman is a good role for her. Hopefully they`ll have some good stuff with that role for Eliza.

San Diego Comic con G-4 cable Network will have 3-4 hrs live coverage every day

4 P.M-6 P.M. Join Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon and star/producer Eliza Dushku for a no-holds-barred Q & A about what they have planned for season 2, after they unveil a special screening of the NEVER BEFORE SEEN “Epitaph One” episode of the Fox hit which releases on DVD just four days later. Ballroom 20.

I can`t wait to see this. Hopefully G4 will show plenty of it. BTW i hate that only Eliza and Joss will be there.

I don't think Eliza can tweet me back cuz I have my updates set to private. It's okay. I enjoy reading hers and giving her my input anyway.

Btw, she was taking suggestions for Dolls this coming season and lesbian was a popular one. I gave her a few suggestions, but she never commented on mine specifically.

Now I'm curious what she says at Comic Con! I wish I could go! I've been saying that every year since the Tru Calling panels!

I also wish i could go to Comic-Con to meet Eliza and Joss. Of course there`s always the hazards of having to put up with a bunch of overzealous sci-fi geeks, but it would be worth it to meet Eliza.

Whedon and Dushku Play with 'Dollhouse 'at Comic-Con

Strong Women. That’s one of the many great things you can count on when attending any sort of Joss Whedon panel at San Diego Comic-Con International. And Friday’s panel featured a few, namely Dollhouse star Eliza Dushku.

Following a screening of the 13th “lost” episode of the Fox drama, Whedon and Dushku said Epitaph One will carry over into the upcoming Season 2 of the show and that the

[SPOILER ALERT] leap forward in time was part a consequence of the writers’ “expectation” that they would be canceled and said they’re “reeling some stuff back in” now that production has resumed after the show’s 13-episode pickup. "What we intend to do is honor what you’ve seen here today, but a lot of (Episode 13) were memories,”

Whedon told the packed ballroom. “And our memory is famously fallible.”

"We talked about a lot of ideas for going forward after we accidentally forgot to get canceled,” he joked in a nod to Fox’s eleventh-hour pickup of the show following a massive outpouring of support from Dollhouse fans.

As for what else can be expected from Season 2, the multihyphenate said some familiar faces from the Whedon “family” will be showing up on Dollhouse, specifically Felicia Day, who starred as Penny in Whedon’s Emmy-nominated Web series Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Day, who appeared in Epitaph One, is confirmed to return on Dollhouse’s Season 2 premiere.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ Summer Glau, a Whedon regular from such series as Firefly and Angel, also could surface on Dollhouse “if the stars align,” Whedon said.

Dushku, who Tweeted that she had a big reveal set for the Dollhouse panel, made good on her promise. Her big Comic-Con announcement was that she will lend her voice to swords and shooting video game “Wet,” which is due out in September or October.

And as for what else Whedon has on his plate: The Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator said he’ll resume writing the Buffy Season 8 comic books.

Whedon and Dushku, meanwhile, continued their mutual love affair at Comic-Con and were as lighthearted as ever. Noting that they were sitting in each other’s chairs at the panel, Dushku told Whedon in a nod to her Dollhouse character Echo: “I’d like to try on your personality.”

Not to be outdone, Whedon zapped back: “I’d like to try on your dress!”
