May 11, 2008 - Joss Whedon's Dollhouse looks to be good to go for next season. Nikke Finke is reporting on her Deadline Hollywood blog that the project, starring Eliza Dushku, will indeed by on FOX's schedule for next season. Finke backs up rumors from last week that the show will debut midseason.

The pick up is not a surprise, considering FOX gave the show a seven episode order before the pilot was even written. However, there have been occasions in the past when projects that seemed similarly set still derailed, so Whedon fans will no doubt be happy to hear more confirmation that they will indeed be seeing a new show from him in the next few months, even as they remain wary where FOX is concerned, considering Whedon's experience there with Firefly. But as Whedon himself has noted, it's a very different regime at the network now.

Update: Variety is also confirming that Dollhouse will be on FOX's schedule as a midseason series.

No it isn`t wrong of you. I also wish that Dollhouse was premiering in the fall. It`s so tough to wait on it.

You should watch the intro of the last Futurama movie. That was a full blown Fox bashing, or should I say Box Network bashing lol I think the first 5 minutes of it is a clear Fox bashing for cancelling the show.

Well, for one thing I can't download videos while I'm at school. Plus, the only way I could turn the sound on here is if I used headphones that I don't have. I can try downloading it at home and pray that it doesn't take FOREVER.
