As for the Czechs, i`ve noticed how they`re big headcases in singles, especially Tomas Berdych. He is one of the best players outside of the Big 5(i.e. Federer, Nadal, A-Rod and Nole), but every time he`s on the verge of making a breakthrough, he finds a way to blow it like at the Australian Open last year when he won the first two sets against Federer and then slowly imploded mentally starting in the fourth set.

I know, she tanked her way to a loss against dulko, who then lost to Scheepers in the 2nd r. (I've been in Paris for the tennis the last 5 days). ;)

You could be right sadly Sarah. However i`m still holding out hope that Maria can rise up and end their reign much like she did back in 2004. If not Maria, then Caroline and Vika. Plus it wouldn`t be too much for Ana to get a couple of wins at the All England Club.

:lol: I'd be OK if Caroline won, the others...not so much. :P It seems we have totally different female players to cheer for. :lol: Although it's not like my faves are gonna win a GS any time soon - they are mostly not even top 20 players. :lol:

I've felt that Caroline was going to be the next one to break thru for a title, but then she got booted in round one in her most recent tournament. She's usually pretty good in the early rounds.

Yeah that was a bit of a surprise in Eastbourne...but who knows, maybe she'll do better at Wimby.

I`ve had a bad feeling about Caroline`s first round match at Eastbourne, which was against Aravane Rezai, who had been playing well lately. Hopefully she can shake if off and go on a nice run at Wimbledon, which starts on Monday.

That's true, I had forgotten she played Aravane, so that upset is not so bad because Aravane really has been playing well lately!

I'll be at Wimby probably Tues/Wed/Thurs. :D

I don't think I could watch Tennis live, I guess it depends how close I was to the court.
