35 years ago today :Beatles rooftop performance
Thirty-five years ago on January 30, 1969, on a cold winter lunch hour in London's business district, the Beatles played their legendary last public performance on the roof of Apple Records. The show was documented in the movie LET IT BE and was the fondly remembered final image of the Fab Four's mythic story. My favorite part is during the song "Don't Let Me Down" when John forgets the lyrics and sings "And Gah-Jee- Goo Jee Gloob" and breaking out in a grin!

I actually haven't seen the Rooftop Concert before I've seen bits, like the film clip for Get Back but that's about all, really. __________________

I borrowed the Anthology DVD from a buddy of mine a while back and finished it in like a week Best darndest thing. My favorite part was the Rooftop Concert, they all molded into their true beings and everything seemed so comfortable.
Rock on. __________________
