I liked Spike calling Buffy Slayer more than Buff.
Angelus called Buffy Buff & it rubs me the wrong way for Spike to call her that b/c he did.  Spike calling Buffy Slayer was also a sign of respect from him to me too. My fave nickname has always been luv though. Their expressions when Xander was talking here.  __________________

That’s where this is different. Angel only called Buffy “Buff”, when he was evil or pretending to be evil, mocking her. Spike here, while still soulless, is comforting her.
So Luv is my favorite too. Or when in that scene, before Xander walks in he calls her Sweetheart. Never to be said again that I can remember right now but he sounds good saying it __________________
