The Way To A Man's Heart by Dorian's Kitten

Summary: What's a good girl to do when she's set her sights on a bad boy? One word answer: Bake.

I love this fic has a diff. dynamic with Buffy never even dated Angel.

Spike is her first everything.

He is older & this causes Spike to hold back b/c he doesn't think he is good enough for her from the start.

Buffy is 19 & Spike is like 28 years old.

This story has everything to me.

It's a lot of fun & there is some angst but all in char. & there is no cheating.

That's ok.

It is diff. from a lot of fics with Buffy not having her heart broken yet & being the one after Spike.

I haven’t found too many Spuffy AUs that I can actually get into, besides older but Nauti could write about Spuffy in a dump yard and id probably still like it.

Most of the Spuffy fics I like are canon related or still have a lot of the same elements from canon

There are lots of fans that prefer just Canon fics.

Majority those are the only kind written now.

Years ago there was a time AU Human Spuffy fics were huge though.

Even fics based on movies like She's all that.

I'm happy this site is still on wayback.

I think partly I've read so many canon fics & so many are the same it a lot.

Maybe that's why I'm attracted of AU Human right now.
