I'm still amazed that Buffy even wanted anything to do with Spike after everything before he left much less worried about him. This was the last kind of reunion I thought Spuffy would have. I'm was very pleasantly surprised by really everything Buffy did to help him from there to end of the show.

I really think that shows how strong her feelings already were before he got his soul back. There was a real connection between them or she never would have helped him.

I could write a lot more.

There is some moron on FF net that is writing a Spuffy story & in the summary says Spike got the chip out like he wanted.

Joss's stupid fault for wanting surprise the viewers & not even telling James about the soul before he acted it.

Spike went to fight for his soul back.

No he wasn't tricked.

It is what he wanted all along.

Seriously after all these years this still amazes me.

I thought Buffy fans were supposed to smart.

It was a plot device.

The whole end of BY says it all. Joss and all the writers have said it.

Jane E - When Spike says he wants to give Buffy what she deserves he means a lover with a Soul.

This says it all in terms that morons should be able to understand.
