No not at all. I loved that Buffy was jealous then with Anya and Faith and even when Spike was talking to the girls in Sleeper.

It's like part of me thinks he did believe her at first. Then spending time with Angel and having all this time away to think. His insecurities got to him. I think it's telling that the first thing he wanted to do was go to Buffy when he got out of the amulet but then couldn't.
Then he told Harmony this lame excuse about wanting Buffy to remember him as a hero when he finally could leave. I think that was Spike trying to cover up his insecurities. I know they found their way back to each other.  I love Buffy face in the next to last gif.  __________________

Yeah I kinda think it is more of that too. He never really thought he deserved Buffy's love.
I remember him giving Harmony that excuse. I think she'd still think of him as a hero even if he found her. And she would be happy to have seen he was alive. Me too It's funny __________________
