If they continued into Season 8 I would like to see Buffy build on her affection towards him in public. S7 they had that stolen moment affection in public--where they forgot someone was watching and then pulled away. I would have wanted less pulling away and more touch. It doesn't have to be Something Blue touching...or it can be...but more touch and not care who sees it.

Yes, Spike knows a way to the ladies hearts. He also noticed that if Dawn feels safe with him...and if Joyce can feel the same way, then they could influence Buffy to like him without him actually being around.
Could you picture Spike trying to butter up Mr. Summers if he was still around? |
