Do you think that part of Spike was sensing his mate in School Hard? It was an instinctual pull the moment he was in the same building with Buffy.

They FLW. The sexual chemistry was bubbling over from their heated trailer encounters.

He had been in love with Drusilla for over a hundred years and yet as soon as he sees Buffy dancing he is metaphorically crashing to his knees. I'm not surprised that only a year later Dru was dumping him because she couldn't take his Buffy feels anymore.

I love that he kept having to return to Sunnydale. He couldn't be away from his mate. No matter where he was, she was calling to him. Even when she didn't know it.

I think that the way she cheated in S3 was different to her than how she cheated before that.

Before she would be thinking, "I can do what I want. He'll still love me. And will never leave."

But after I think she was thinking, "Why not? Every time I see his thoughts or feel his essence the Slayer is mixed in there. She's already stolen him from me. Why not take my pleasures elsewhere?"

I'm glad how he uses his old tricks to sniff her when he exited the house. Also like how Willow was all nervous and afraid to tell Spike that they kicked her out...they all knew all hell would break loose.

Yeah and that's why they sent Spike away. Buffy even realized that.

She knew that he would stand up for her.

They really came a long way from this truce.
