I know. There is a lot off screen we didn't get to see.
 I wish we got to see when Spike found out Buffy took the chip out. That's just one of many things. __________________

I kind of like how FFL scene ended on them on the porch and that we knew she told Spike about her mom in the next episode, I think it worked well. But when it comes to getting his chip out, I think we should have been shown Buffy telling it to him and Spike's reaction because this SL was a very significant part of Spike's character and the series that took place throughout 3 + seasons.

Me too. Spike made her grin. They could just sit in comfortable silence together. If she wanted to talk he would listen. I love that Buffy told him how she was really doing and didn't try to pretend to be happy.

That is what I love so much about them. She didn't have to pretend with him, she didn't even need to talk to him to feel comfortable around him or to make him understand her. They had their beautiful silent moments that represented their connection like nothing else.
