All true. All the characters on the show evolved over the years in good and bad ways.

That's true. Even those characters that didn't evolve in a good way still were realistic and well written. Spuffy helped each other become strong and become the ones they were meant to be. Heroes. They brought the best and the worst out of each other and they helped one another face their dark and bright sides and it was needed for their evolation.

 I was just watching a vid and it had the scene where Glory showed up in Spiral. The first thing Spike does is try and fight her. Even though he knows he can't win.  __________________

I remember when he did. I loved it so much and I think at that point I was already sort of shipping Spuffy but it was not before Intervention when I became an official shipper.

He really knew after Intervention he didn't have a chance against her. Spike was willing to do anything even die. I love that he in the end died for Buffy and the world.

I love that even though he knew he couldn't win he was still willing to fight untill the end, by Buffy's side, for her and for Dawn. He was the only one who promised her to protect Dawn untill the end and he kept this promise even after Buffy's death. And he didn't even have a soul at that point. He would always do what his heart was telling him and in the end he sacrificed himself so Buffy could live. Even though I don't like Buffy's behaviour in that situation at all, I admit that moment was meaningful.

It's just So amazing how Spike started out trying to kill Buffy but in the end loved her So much that he died for her in the world.

I don't think they were ever some over the top and real intense type of hate though. It was a passionate hate definitely but their interest in each other sometimes outweighted it, which helped their relationship develop.Ok __________________
