Spike is something special. Spike retained enough compassion. Some part of his soul is still was always there that allowed him to fall in love with Buffy where no vampire could.

As an actor, I right away played an attraction to Buffy, even though Spike was fully in love with Drusilla. There was a scene, my very first day of shooting, where I was hunting Buffy, not to fight with her, but just to observe her and see what her fighting style was. And I'm looking at her in the Bronze and I'm kind of walking through the crowd, watching her dance, and there was something both very much of a hunter, "I'm going to kill you", but there's also heavy sexual undercurrent, and that just came off the day (laughs) watching Sarah dance, really. But, you know, Spike was the perfect boyfriend, so he would never go beyond that. But there was that attraction immediately, and by the time we get to Season 4, it's developing. There are two episodes where the characters get together. One is kind of a what-if episode which is brought on by a spell that Willow casts which is completely unreal. But then there's a scene later on in the season where Faith takes over Buffy's body and just messes with Spike's mind. And there we see for the first time that if Spike would have gone for it, he would very much like to have kissed Buffy. And that's why he can't kill her, because he's in love with someone who's truly good. And so he's going to try and be the kind of man that Buffy would like to have.

I will always ship them to a certain extent but I don't love them like I used to. I have been shipping them for nearly a decade (possibly more) and after loving something that long I won't ever be indifferent to them, but they aren't as relevant to my interests as they once were. And honestly there are some aspects of the ship that no longer mean the same thing to my anymore, or that I'm not quite crazy about.

Basically, yeah, I still appreciate them--certain scene I will always love--but I'm not all gung-ho and wouldn't be posting in an SB thread if it wasn't for you guys.

Spuffy where with me for 8 years before I joined the online fandom, so I pretty much was a lonely fan. Since I've started posting about them I post mainly here on FF, because of you flawless people

I know it's hopeless for me to try to be soul-bounded with you, since I pretty much know that Carmen & Jaime = soulmates for life

But still I'm on mission here spreading the word about Lost evilness and if I could hold you from watching this evil show and protect your innocent eyes from harm it might cause you it means we will always have a connection

SB will always be my life-time OTP though and no couple can top them for me. Always number one

I'm so proud of SB aka ~the little ship that could that they still are so popular and loved. So many ships die out after a show finishes but they still have a thriving fan base.

You don't need to worthy about me watching Lost. I like some of the actors in it, but even still, that doesn't make me want to watch the show. I watched S1 way back when and the lack of answers the show was giving was unbearable for me. I'm too impatient for that crap. And after hearing how the show ended and there were STILL unanswered questions? Well that cinched it. No way I'm putting myself through that.

Not only unanswered questiones. NOTHING meant nothing. This show had a potential to become the greatest show of all times, but ended up... the way it ended up. Just IMO, though.

I'm not a big J.J. Abrams fan. Alias bored me, Lost dragged on, and even Fringe I'm not crazy about.

I liked Alias at first but it didn't take long for me to get bored with it.

I did enjoy Alias, but then it got really boring and I only watched to see what happens to Sydney/Vaughn. Then the show got cancelled in Russia and I gave up on it. Only a few weeks ago I've been told that SV got a happy ending and was like, wow... I didn't expect them to. Because knowing how all of my ships end, I thought it's gonna be one of them dying or both dying or their relationship being ruined beyond repair. And now I know I have an endgame couple

Spuffy's fanbase is amusing. So many people still stay loyal to them.

As for Fringe, haven't see and dunno if it's for me. I have a hard time getting into modern shows.

Not really my genre. Only Joss and a few other writers managed to make me love it. BTVS = excellent writing

It is going VERY hard for me. I took a break for now. I was not invested into it from the start, even when everyone where saying that it gets better closer to the ending of S1 I still didn't find it interesting for me and still don't even though I'm already on S2. I'm gonna hook up with it again, but I already know that things are not gonna be the way I want.

The plot has seem to come to a stand still right now. Caroline is still my only reason for watching and Damon is even more unbearable than last season. His mix of pathetic good boy "wahh I just want to be human" and evil in an annoying instead of kickass way is laughable.
