Sorry for being so sparse lately everyone. Graduated college a week ago and I'm in the midst of a summer course to wrap things up

Well I have bad news for you guys. Yesterday, I both lost the members of my family that were involved in the incident as well as loosing my job because of the situation. The office manager at the last job I had gave me permission to answer the detective's calls. I would just be counting it as break time. Then when I got back to the office, they have told me that they would have to let me go because of the situation with the fraud incident becoming too involved in my work, and that they "have been bending over their backs to accommodate me". As for me on loosing those family members, the told lies to the detective who was investigating the case. Even though I haven't cashed the bribery check and told my brother that I was pursuing the case, they still assumed that I was going to cash it just because "I took it" out of force. And they told me that they never forced me, but they did. Now by them doing that, I can't pursue a criminal case, and only a civil case.

Life can't get any better, and when it does, it smacks ya in the face.

My gf’s grandpa has been diagnosed with blood cancer. He’s currently in the hospital doing chemo. They said if the chemo doesn’t work he has 3 weeks to live

We're just living life one day at a time. I've blocked the people involved on social media because of them twisting the truth around into a white lie, and are still sticking their heads in the fing sand.!!! My sister who wronged me is telling a different version of the story and is playing the victim.

That is really sad news. Sorry to hear that, but at least your gf's grandma never turned her back on you.

Work's been putting too much on our skeleton crew honestly. We've lost a lot of people in the last month or so, due to quitting or getting fired, and the owner basically has this attitude of that she shouldn't have to hire new people, and we should do everything. It's getting old. I pulled a night-shift the other night (10 PM-6 AM) and then came in again at 4 that afternoon and stayed until 8. Then, after telling my manager that I couldn't come in the next day because I was going out of state for a Mother's Day thing, I get another call this morning at 6 AM about wanting me to come in (different manager, and given he's a friend, I'm sure he wasn't aware I was going anywhere).

The owner of the store needs to quit being an idiot and hire people.

I don't know what kind of parents would do this, especially if the kid had a harder upbringing than the other kid.

It is really hard to find out. IF my parents think they have a pretty good reason to choose this woman over me, then their reason must not make sense. I don't know what a good reason would be. They knew this woman would be taking advantage of me or would predict. They know what kind of person she can be at times, but decided to support her over me????? This woman never gave me ALL of my stuff. She only gave me half of the stuff I had over there. IF that would to happen to them, would they be pissed off about it? I would hope so. Also how would they feel if she was threatening them about ****? Could you see how it wouldn't make sense if they thought they had a good reason?

When I was little when my biological dad was gone, and my biological mom couldn't take care of me, no one wanted me, and these kind of parents were the type of parents who wanted to take me in. They knew about my mental disorders, and wanted to take care of me. How could they get from that to wanting to support someone who took advantage of me to no end?????????????

They should be looking at her relationships and why these men wanted to dump her or whatever happened. I honestly think that there was more than just one side of her ex-husband leaving her for another woman. I think her behavior had something to do with it. She wasn't giving him what he liked in the relationship/marriage. The marriage only lasted for a year.

This still bugs me.
