I didn't originally start watching the show till S2 (and didn't see S1 till FX aired the repeats many years ago lol) but I just thought I would give it (along with many other WB shows at the time) a shot and couldn't stop watching. Even though I loved the show, I relate to some things in the show more now that I'm older. This is one of my favorite shows of all time and I'm glad I have the series on DVD. Whenever they do a reboot it will NEVER touch this one.

Honestly, every time I re-watch the show every few years it's a different experience depending on where I am in life and what I relate to. I continue to get something out of the show on every viewing. Such an amazing program.

100% agree. It’s still so relevant. No matter what you’re going through in life or where you are there’s something for everyone in Buffy and that’s what makes it so timeless.

Yeah I think there is at least one char. that everybody can relate to as well with some many diff. ones to choose from.

I'm just glad the two pairings I liked (Oz/Willow and Riley/Buffy) didn't end as bad as the other pairings, and both couples got closure. I would rather have that then one half of the couple getting killed off.

I actually consider getting closure bad for a ship.

I would rather them left open so I can imagine they got back together after the show.

You are right those relationships did leave no hope really for them ever getting back together.
