I feel like the Dawn love is at an all time high.

Spike/Dawn friendship too.

Dawn has always been loved in Spuffy fic.

It seems like Spuffy fic go through trends.

Before this is was a lot of time travel fics but they actually weren't the norm. There were some neat twists in them.

There actually was one where it was Dawn that traveled back in time too.

I had never read one of them before. It was well done.

In Heat by Nautibitz was the first Spuffy smut fic I ever read.

The Scoobies were funny in that fic.

She always wrote the scoobies, and everyone really, so in character. Her fics read like an episode of the show.... an episode with a lot of sex

I agree. I wish she wrote a lot more b/c everybody really is in character.

Yes her friends hurt Buffy a lot at times more to me than she ever did them.

The expectations were impossible to meet they had.

I admit they did help her a lot as well.

I definitely agree. Xander's expectations have always bothered me the most. It's been really hard to even like him during this rewatch.

But I also believe that her friends really tied her to the real world and helped her keep an ounce of normalcy in her life. Which probably helped her in the long run survive.
