I feel like bashing is obviously a no go
But fair criticism should be okay? Like, the people who do post here aren't the type to get offended by the Scoobies being shown in an imperfect light. Besides if conversation gets too heated Jaime can put her mod hat on and change the topic __________________

Let's begin *maniacal laughter*
Why the **** do people keep saying Buffy fell for a trap in Dirty Girls? That was NOT A TRAP. 1) She went to the vineyard expecting to find Caleb and the Bringers and when she got there she found Caleb and the Bringers. 2) She told Wood that she didn't feel comfortable leading the girls into war when some of them had never even been tested in battle and he said "maybe you should test them" 3) She had a vision of what was coming and knew it was way worse than anything that was in the vineyard 4) She took all of the best fighters (Buffy, Spike, Faith). 5) She and Faith scouted ahead. 6) For months she'd been trying to get the group to level up and be able to defend themselves instead of relying on her to save them all the time. They just lost a battle. Buffy said in End of Days, "You lead people into battle, they're gonna die. It doesn't matter how prepared you are or how well armed you are. War is about death. Needless, stupid death." And in Potential, "Death is what a Slayer breathes. What she dreams about when she goes to sleep. Death is what a Slayer lives." Should everyone have turned against President Abraham Lincoln because of how many people died at Gettysburg? The group (sans Buffy) fell for a trap in Touched. Ironic, isn't? __________________

The episode where they kick Buffy out still makes my blood boil. Only Dawn, Spike, and Faith are exempt from my wrath. Leaving this here: Quote:

SMH!
Buffy knew Spike was really sent away b/c he wouldn't stand for what they were doing to her! I only really forgive Dawn. __________________

I feel like Faith didn't want it to happen (she spoke up against it, did she not?) and followed Buffy out of the house.
Obviously the part of her that was always jealous of Buffy was happy it was happening, but I don't think that was the dominant part. __________________

Faith grew more as a char. in a good way than the core Scoobies. __________________

Well, Faith didn't grow that much. Within 48 hours of all of Buffy's friends and family turning against her and ousting her from her own home, Faith is not only sleeping in Buffy's bed but screwing Robin Wood in it.
Faith didn't want to be leader since she knew absolutely nothing about being leader but she also wanted to knock Buffy down a peg. When she asked Buffy, "Can you follow?" it was harking back to what she accused in Sanctuary. "You're all about control." I blame Giles the most though. In a private conversation between just him and Buffy, she said Spike was the only one who had her back. And Giles turned around and told the entire group. He knew what she meant. He knew she was still hurt that he had betrayed her and went behind her back and second guessed her every decision and treated her like a lovesick schoolgirl. He knew she was saying that she doesn't feel like he has her back. But he still aired their private conversation in public knowing full well how it would come across. __________________

She was even worried in the next episode "don't tell me you two got wriggly" when Buffy finds out. __________________

But it was still in Buffy's bed. And she still doesn't get why that is wrong. It's a step in the right direction from screwing in Buffy's body like she did in s4. But you don't have one night stands in someone else's bed. Especially not when it is a bed that person has had for a decade. Someone shouldn't have to jump off of their own bed because they just found out you ****ed someone on it the night before. And it was a clear callback to Buffy sitting on Riley's bed and then quickly getting off of it when she found out Faith ****ed him on it.
I only blame Wood for screwing Faith after flirting with Buffy all season long and having been the only date she went on that year. He was such an a s s h o l e after LMPTM. It's so sad to go back and watch First Date and see how eager Buffy was to go out with him. She was trying to pick the perfect outfit and said multiple times she finds him attractive and is already comparing him to her previous boyfriends/lovers. __________________
