Sarah's New Movie: "Southland Tales"
I figured this was good enough to start a new thread for since most of Sarah's movie discussions get new threads.
Source: E! Online Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seann William Scott are looking to make music with Jason Lee, Janeane Garofalo, Tim Blake Nelson, Amy Poehler, Kevin Smith and Ali Larter. The stars are in negotiations to star in writer-director Richard Kelly's (Donnie Darko) musical-comedy-thriller Southland Tales. The film follows the events leading up to a Fourth of July celebration during a scorching heat wave in Los Angeles. Southland Tales, Richard Kelly's hotly anticipated follow-up to the cult movie, is set in 2008 during a three-day heatwave in Los Angeles. Sean William Scott, Jason Lee and Kevin Smith are also in discussions, according to Variety. Kelly is also said to be in talks with Moby about writing music for the film. The director says his new film is only a musical "in the postmodern sense of the word". I wish there was more news about this movie. I keep searching for some, but no such luck, just the same ol'.
