Sarah/David so had an affair. And if they didn't they might as well have since they made everyone believe it with the nonstop PDA. ha ha

David was definitely one of Sarah's all-time favorite co-stars. She wasn't even sure if she could do BtVS without him when he first left. And when she first talked about him leaving to do his own show it sounded like a girlfriend being upset that her man was leaving her. It was so cute. I love that she dedicated that award to him and that they never had a disagreement the entire time they were working together.

I have no doubt there was an affair at some point. I think its the mere fact that they were photographed together and they were all touchy feely was evident in and of itself.

But I also think (if an affair had been ongoing) it worked for them. They didn't let whatever happened in their personal lives affect their working relationship. And I applaud that because I think it's just the opposite these days. No matter what may or may not have happened, they never let those aspects affect their jobs.

I dont think it was an affair - as David had been seperated from his ex for several months before his divorce became final in 1999 but i do think they were together quiety during that seperation and I can also understand why they wanted to keep it quiet

But yes I agree it was nice to see that it didnt affect their jobs

I just want to read her journals. Find out exactly what happened back then.

When you see them in those pictures and interviews it looked like a couple in love. It was like they were still Buffy and Angel. But we know how professional they are and that she had been acting for a long time prior to BtVS so it wasn't just getting caught up in the storylines of their characters. I wonder how the romantic aspects of their relationship began.

I'm sure that they spent a lot of late nights hoping and praying that BTVS was going to a success so that they still had a job. And then there's all those promotional pics, interviews and commercials they did. It happened slowly over time.

While I like to think of Buffy and Angel as real people I would love to have had a ton of footage of Sarah and David on set. To get to see all of those behind the scenes moments between them.
