I think filming such scenes and making them that real, natural and hot requires two actors to feel completely and absolutely comfortable around each other. I think that is one of the reasons why SMG/JM had one of the best chemistry ever. I'd say for me they are tied with Josh and Evi from Lost.

Hey! New poster here
 my name's Jasmin, thought I'd get in on the Sarah/James action here  I completely agree with you mary, I've watched a few of James' comic con interviews with fans and when he was talking about the rape scene he had to do, how it was one of the hardest things he's ever had to do and how he probably wouldn't of been able to do it if it wasn't for Sarah. They definitely had such amazing chemistry, and clearly a great friendship off screen that they felt so comfortable together on screen and nothing was weird and awkward. Imagine having to do all those scenes with someone you wasn't really friends with?  lol |

 I agree with everything you said. It would have been impossible to act so brilliantly together during season 6 and portray all the positive/negative things that happened in Buffy/Spike relationship without SMG and JM being so close and feeling so comfortable around each other. __________________

Ah that's one of my favourite moments! But I think my all time favourite has to be in "Touched" when he gives her that amazing speech. I'm obsessed with that part, I'll put that episode on just to fast-foward to the Spuffy moments. I loved them in season 6 because it was all hot and steamy
 but I think their connection in season 7 is just.. wow. Love everything about them  |

Ditto. lol, love the hot n steamy scenes, and love the tender scenes, she truly loved him, even after he tried to rape her, she knows he didn't mean it, love the way she looks at him in alot of season 7, amazing chemistry JM/SMG had.
