It would have been easier for SMG to play her blonde too, since she wouldn't need to change her hair. I'm glad she saw Kat as a brunette, the dark hair on her is....well it brings a little more to her.

Sunshine Anette is blonde.

Sexy bad girl Kat is a brunette.

I love that she wanted to be brunette for the role. I honestly don't think Kathryn would have been as evil if she was blonde.

Plus SMG as a brunette is hot.

That's very true.

Buffy's blonde. And blonde is always associated with perky and happy and sweet. Kathryn um, really wasn't those things.

Have any of ya'll read the book? I haven't but maybe she was portrayed as a brunette in the book or SMG just wanted to briefly step away from the blonde image and give Kathryn that darker edge
