Once or twice.

Is it B/A or B/Angelus?

Neither, I think. But elements of B/A, right, Pea? Still, it's worth the read. It's such an interesting premise and she builds this universe so beautifully and with such detail and her Buffy is just spot-on.

Oy, I need to get out my Buffy DVDs and have me a watch. After the FS mini, though. After! And S7 DVDs are out in November and once I have those, I'm done with the series and OMG YAY I have completed a DVD collection!

I should warn you that if you want just B/A goodness, Phoenix Burning is not for you. It is more about all the characters and Buffy's journey as a slayer. The plot is excellent and you can tell that the writer gave it a lot of thought. I thought it was very sad and full of angst. The B/A parts were incredibly sad and poignant. I thought that it was very close to how Joss might've viewed the future of BTVS. I would've preferred this to S7 Read it! It's very very good.

Ooh, Buffy centred journey fics. I'm sold. But yes, I was always meaning to read that, but its so long. Lmfao. I didn't have enough time to devote to it.

Dude, isn't Buffy season 7 already out on DVD? Lmfao. I saw it on Saturday. Hmm. That's weird that we have it out here before the USA.

I've decided I'm gonna buy the DVD sets after all. I'm gonna take it a season at a time. Although, I have issues with spending $100 on season 6 and 7. They sucked too hard for me to give them my money. But I know I'll buy it.

Is the music thats used the same as on the show? I know with the DC DVD's alot of the music was changed. I hope the BTVS one hasn't.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the music is the same. It's been a while since I've seen the eps from the earlier seasons, but I don't recall any differences. Buffy wasn't as music-centric as DC was since they used a lot of scored music for a lot of scenes.

Thank-god.

I don't think I could handle watching scenes like the one at the end of 'Becoming Part 2' if Full of Grace wasn't playing. Or if Wild Horses didn't play in 'The Prom'.

I have a total urge to go watch 'Phrophecy Girl' right now. No! I must resist. I have too much homework. But aw, such a good eppy. Or I could watch Passions also. Love that episode to death.

No! Lmfao. Damnit. I must get this 'Proposal' done. *wills self to stay strong*

Yeah. I'm pretty sure that the music is the same.

Sam, the fic is very long, but also very good. I can't pimp it hard enough

Pheonix Burning is an incredible piece of writing. It's also one of the all time best written pieces of Btvs centered writing I've ever read. The characterization is just spot on. Not to mention the amazing plot and detail that Yahtzee put into this story. It truely, truely humbles me to have the chance to read it.

Can you tell I like it yet?

Also, Sumiko is one of the best orginal characters ever! Love her! (read PB to discover who the heck I'm on about.)

Another AMAZING story and writer is Maayan and her story "Then Serve In Heaven". I read that a while ago now and it's just...wow. There are no words.

Ahem..but yeah! Back to the thread at hand! Bijal, yoshhh, can I consider you two added to the list?

Lmfao I'd say Pea's a resounding yes. Bijal, unlikely.

Damn, so many fics that I have to read. So little time.

Okay, question... what do you think was the creepiest Buffy/Angelus scene?

I'll add them both anyway, they won't notice...

Ooo. Creepiest scene? Hmmm. The beginning of Passion when Angelus is watching Buffy and Xander dance is pretty scary. His stare is so penetrating and intense.

Or..when he comes to see Buffy in the hospital. Imagine if he'd gotten past Xander...

Ooh, yeah thats totally creepy. But yet scarily sexy at the same time.

I thought when he Angelus kissed Buffy in 'Innocence' after saying "things are about to get very interesting" was totally creepy. Especially because only the night before those lips belonged to someone else. Great direction.

Sure thing. I've had trouble locating the author's site. I think she's moved a few times but here's one site that houses the fic:

Then Serve In Heaven

It's the first story in a trilogy and no idea if it's been completed but it's very, very good.
