Obviously I don't ship B/Aus but I was reading a review of BTVS and I thought this was hilarious.

Angelus starts watching Buffy sleep and drawing pictures of her to freak her out (though we realise that, post-Twilight, this may not work any more), he kills Willow's fish (the bastard) and then moves on to objectively worse things, such as murdering Jenny Calendar and setting the body up for prospective-lover Giles to find in a manner so deliciously evil I can only implore you to go watch.

I would have loved if she said Angelus. He would want to take her right there but then she would snap him back to his evil persona by saying something like "I love you" and he'd flee while she would be more emotionally confused than ever.

Angelus was so brilliant with his quest to hurt Buffy. He sired Teresa because she was Buffy's friend and trusted Buffy. He killed Jenny and then went to Buffy's house to see her reaction to the news. He was going to sire Gage when he realized that Buffy was trying to protect him. He killed Willow's fish and was probably going to kill Willow at a later date. He told Buffy's mom that he had sex with her daughter and was going to kill her. He killed Enyos and wrote a sexual remark on the wall in blood. The list just goes on.

I still want to know what he was going to do in Killed by Death & BBB.

He knew her so well - that he knew exactly what to do to make her hurt

I don't believe he would have broken her in the end though. She seemed pretty determined to kill him. That probably made him more obsessed with her

Can you imagine the emotional state Buffy would be in if he had killed Willow, Joyce, Giles, and Xander?

She does have a lot of inner strength though. I can't see anything completely breaking her. Not to the degree that Drusilla became. I don't think he would even want her to reach that level of mental damage. He just wanted to really hurt human Buffy as much as possible before transforming her into vampire Buffy. Maybe he was hoping that she would ask him to turn her if things got so bad.
