I can see how that would be true.

EVen if your parent is sick and you know they’re dying, when it happens it’s always sudden and not something you’re prepared for, even if you think you are

I agree. There is a lot of stuff that's hard in life you think you are prepared for but then when it happens you realize you aren't. There are just some things too big to prepare to happen & losing a parent certainly is one.

I’m sure with them being sick prior to passing at least you know it’s coming but it’s still not easy or something you can really prepare for.

No one should have to find their parent so suddenly the way Buffy did. Truly awful.
