katie holmes as buffy no way. sarah does it just fine for me. sarah draws you into the charater of buffy what ever shes going through i feel it . i love the buffster and i love sarah playing her.
there is no other person i wouldve wanted to see as buffy. sarahs my favorite actress she draws me into alot of her preformances... __________________

hey boys and girls!
Huge Sarah fan here, shes definately the heart and sould of Buffy Summers, no other actress could pull it off, and sure as hell no tthat girl they got doing the animated series. I think shes a big part of the reason that buffy was such a sucess, I mean I know that people dig alot of the other cast, but all most all of them adore sarah. __________________
The reason there's so many problems with religion in the world is because people take literally what were symbolic elements. They all believe the same thing essentially and yet they're willing to die about the details.

Katie as Buffy?
 That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.No. Way. In. Hell. Ah, Katie's a decent actress, but no where near SMG. Not even close. Nope, the show wouldn't have done well had it been anyone else but Sarah. The most important thing in the early years was getting someone who could play Buffy perfectly, someone who'd make you forget that the show's name is ridiculous and the storylines are silly (superficially, at least), and that these are real, engaging characters. Yep, the reason why Buffy got past its first season was Sarah. No question. __________________

Definately! I loved Sarah as Buffy, I will always remember her that way even though I'm sure she will have other brilliant roles, but yeh, I'll always know her as BTVS. She was my absolute hero in High School! Man, I miss my weekly Buffy fix! I'm going to buy season 2 and 3 on DVD when I have some money in a couple of weeks!
