They do. Once I stopped thinking of The Watchers as 'good guys' in any way, they made a lot more sense. They don't want their Slayer/weapon to get too old because then they become harder to control.

Not Buffy Stans at all

I was watching the Pilot earlier with my mom and I’m not super openly gay around my mom Bc she’s weird about it but my roommate walks in and she yells “Damn Buffy’s hot!” And I was just like “Amen.”

It’s a good face to have. Also my roommate has never seen Bufft before so that context may have needed to be thrown in with the story

IA that season 1 Buffy approaches uncomfortably young. But then I see wardrobe putting her in all those little dresses and short skirts and I feel myself going to the dark side.

also probably too concerned about her mom to really care about her own fears. Buffy had seen and done a lot at that point, fear of losing her mom trumped Hospital fear

P.sure she would've lived in the hospital if Joyce needed it. She carries the weight of the world--literally--and still tries so hard to take care of others.
