Buffy&Riley: b/c they are pretty peculiar

Why are you calling them peculiar in the title?
 I don't get it. I don't think Riley was that bad - I just definitely think he wasn't the one for Buffy, she tried so hard to be with Joe Normal after Angel and it just backfired on her. I don't think Riley could handle the fact that Buffy was always going to be better than him - and he couldn't keep her  They did have some cute moments though - like when he tried to ask Willow's advice about Buffy and all he got was 'cheese' __________________

Cuz in one episode there was this scene where Riley said to Prof Walsh that Buffy is peculiar.

it is a version of the BtVS thread title, I think. There we have "bc they are both a little peculiar, but we can live with that" in reference to their scenes in The Initiative, where Riley first spends the good first part of the ep calling Buffy peculiar to everyone, and then in the end, she says it to him, that "you're a little peculiar" and he answers "I can live with that".

Add me to the list! I love Buffy/Riley.
Riley went undercover as a double agent to help Buffy. He joined Twilight (a man, a movement, and a time period "the war on magicks") in order to gain intel for her and help in any way. It is clear by the way he looks at her and talks that he is still in love with Buffy and very impressed with her. Riley is about to get his own one shot issue with lots of backstory. __________________

He is interesting. It is just hard to see it when so many are used to such intense characters like Gregory House, Chuck Bass, Christian Troy, etc.
To be honest, I didn't think much of his acting chops or looks until he got together with Buffy. __________________
