I think in the end they ended up perfectly cast and the show wouldn’t be the same had they been cast differently.

She had obligations to AMC.

I do think we got the perfect cast too.

I really wish we got to see a little more of Kendra.

It was interesting how diff. she & Buffy were as slayers & people in gen. too.

I would have liked to know more about Kendra's background too.

It's been a while since I watched but I don't think we learned much about her past.

The problem with that is that Faith was so much better as a char. to me.

Kendra died & Faith became the next Slayer.

Too bad there wasn't a way to keep both.

Right. It’s a double edged sword but no one wanted Kendra to die but....but! Because she died we got Faith. Which was also such a complex and loved character. If I had to choose between them I’d probably choose Faith.

But. Maybe that’s because we knew more about Faith and got a chance to we more of her.

I need to go back and watch Kendra’s episodes but wasn’t she basically just training to be a slayer most of her life? Like that was it. She was pretty cut off from the world besides her calling
