Yeah, called “Mom” or “Ms Summers”. I didn’t rewatch s1 last night but I did rewatch school Hard and before Joyce introduces herself as Joyce Summers to Snyder, Willow has a scene with her and Buffy where she just calls her Ms Summers

it’s been so long and she’s always just been Joyce to me. Can’t imagine her nameless or just “Ms summers” or just “Buffy’s mom”.

Names, birthdays, zodiac signs, all that **** is important in fandom. We need to know it alllllllll

I was reading the BuffyWiki yesterday and apparently the name 'Joyce' was not revealed until the episode School Hard?! So Buffy's mom had no first name for all of season 1. I never noticed that if it's true.

Kristine & James have talked about Spike & Joyce friendship too.

That is stupid along with Spike & Faith not having last names.

Spike was there for many of the most important moments in Buffy's life.

It's one of the big reasons I ship Spuffy.

Buffy even gives Spike this look like she is looking for strength to tell her mom the truth in that scene.

It reminds me of this is what is does later & such a huge reason she falls in love with him.

That marshmallow scene is almost Iconic.
