So maybe it's better that they didn't.
It would've been kind of reminiscent of Giles finding Jenny on the bed. (Which I guess it was anyway since he did see Joyce on the couch after Buffy called him over.)

True it would have been.

That's right Giles saw her dead on the couch too!

Great art.

Thanks for posting

buffyboleyn: Isn’t it wild to think that Joyce had Buffy when she was 23? (according to her gravestone in 5x21, Joyce was born in 1958. Buffy was born in 1981.)

To put it in context, Buffy ends the series 22 years old. Joyce was likely already married and expecting at the age we leave Buffy in the television run.

I never realized that.

My mom was about that age when she had me actually.

My parents were HS sweethearts.

Thanks for posting.

My mom had 2 kids by the time she was my age. I can’t imagine. I know I’m an adult but sometimes I can’t even fathom that much responsibility

Mine too, my mom had me when she was 30. I'm 34 and just don't want any kids, one day or weekend with my little cousins was enough for me lol.

My mom was married and pregnant with me at the age I am now.

I still don't feel like a real adult. I am barely able to take care of myself, let alone another being. I feel like a child would be too much work on top of my mental health issues and I'd end up resenting them.

Yep. Or they’d end up resenting me. Probably both. Ugh.

I watched Honey I shrunk the kids on Disney+ last night and I forgot Kristine was in that

Yep. And I've read testimonials online from people who were raised by parents with my mental illness, and it's not pretty. So it's not a decision I'd ever approach lightly.

Honestly, my dog is the only baby I'll ever need.

OMG, I used to love that movie. I used to cry when the ant died lol. Why did I not realize Kristine was in it?

ETA: She has the Joyce hair, too.

Oh yeah, I remember her being in it. When I watched the movie again for the first time years ago I was like "OMG, Buffy's mom is in this?" I hate when the ant dies too, dammit why! I hate that part.

This is me.

I can't even take care of a pet much less a baby though.

I didn't remember KS being in that movie.

Thanks for the gif Carmen.
