On the Buffy Forums website (under the AtS board) there is a thread about the reasons and the way that CC was fired. I had no idea that she found out through the media.

We have to love Joss though. He has the ability to create great shows. Maybe he will someday write one for her. I don't know though. I've always seen her as more of a comedy actress. I bought her performance when she was being snarky or clueless or funny. Like Aly playing Lily on HIMYM. Charisma could play a character like Robin. She is a decent actress but I don't think that drama is her strong point. It's just like how Sarah does better at drama than comedy.

Even if I loved Cordelia I wouldn't think her acting fit with serious drama. And there is nothing wrong with that since there are a lot of actressses that kill at comedy or other types of acting.

It gets WORSE. When she signed on for Your Welcome she didn't know that her character was going to die. Infact, I think that was like her only condition. That she didn't die. It wasn't until after she signed the contract to appear in the 100th that she found out they were killing off her character.

How can they go back on their word. If she signed the contract under the condition her character wouldn't die then she could have done something legally I'm sure. Enough to get them to not air the episode.

It was her best episode in years. And the hottest she had looked on the series since early S3. I doubt she wanted it to be kept in the dark. Just the last line of it. ha ha

i thought cordy had a lot of fabulous episodes s1-3 and one or 2 in season 4 and looked fabulous until they forced her to dye her hair blonde since they felt her charsacter no longer suited brown hair

and had they given her a decent wardrobe s4 then even prgnant she could have looked great

poor CC hated her storyline in s4 and has even said she did not find her performance or the storyline beleivable and she thought the connor/fake cordy story line was sick
