My computer gets really slow when I leave dls on all night so I restart my computer, start the dls before I go to bed. To make the dls go faster, I click on "find more sources to dl" constantly and preview the clips too. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
I feel like we're going to war or sth.

LMAO, war? I guess it's we're - er, I'm - a little focused. Okay, a LOT focused. But it's for a good cause, right?

I'm going out of town for a week, and I probably won't leave my computer on for that whole time, so the lack of d/l in that time concerns me. There are at least a few eps I could get in that space of time. I'm such a dork for being annoyed for having to go out of town. It's not like it won't be waiting for me when I get back. And it'll be nice to see family, etc.

Oh, I bought Firefly. I was pissed at the torrents this morning and when I was out doing errands, I stopped in at Circuit City and bought it. I don't know if I'm going to keep it at the moment, but it's in my room. Then I went to Best Buy to see if it was cheaper there (it wasn't) and that's where I saw the Farscape DVDs. S2 and S3 were only $95.99 each. That's a bargain, compared so some of the other prices I'd seen. Jeez. Why so expensive?

Did you check the video store? The online DVD rental stores are a bargain if you think about it. You pay about $20-30 bucks which is waaay cheaper than buying the Farscape DVDs. Dls are my first choice then online DVD rentals because shipping is free. Keep the Firefly DVD if you really want to keep it and not just watch then sell it again.

No, I know online renting is the way to go. Netflix has all the FS DVDs, but right now, I'm superpoor and don't want to set up an account, since I don't know how long I'm going to be here. If the d/l doesn't work out, I know that I can always do that once I'm settled somwhere more permanently, so that's good. Plus, Sci-Fi shows reruns at odd times, so that's another avenue (not to mention the marathon).

I shouldn't have even bought that Firefly set, but I was angry and wanted something to comfort me. It was either that or Dead Like Me. I still have some Firefly eps to watch, but I don't have to watch them on DVD right now. Eventually, I know I'll buy it, so I don't really have to buy it now. I just wanted a short-term happy, but I immediately felt guilty afterwards. Sigh.

A couple more chapters of this epic fic and then I'm off to bed. I'm sleepy. And lots more cleaning to do tomorrow. Blah.

I dl the episodes, watch them, then delete them If I really really love the show then I write it down in my list (of DVDs to buy) and remember to buy them when they are cheap enough. The only show I haven't deleted is JoA and that is because I know the DVDs aren't coming out any time soon.

I got Firefly off Kazaa and the dls were fast. I left 3 eppies on a night and they were all done by the time I woke up. You could return the DVD, dl the eppies and I could send you the DVD extras. If you are on a budget that is I'm always on a budget so I can't afford to buy any DVDs right now. I have to say though that I wouldn't be able to live without Kazaa or BT *sighs*

BTW, when I searched for Farscape there was so many Claudia Black porns.

Yeah, I've been meaning to d/l the eps from BT or Kazaa. I'll get around to it eventually. The extras are up at BT, I think, so maybe I'll do those next week. I'm using our desktop to d/l FS S1 and S2, so I don't want to d/l anything else while those are going, but maybe I'll do them on my own computer. I like to d/l stuff straight into the external drive, which is hooked up to the desktop, so I haven't been d/l a lot on my own computer, except for some music and episodes of Rescue Me (which is SO good, btw, and I highly recommend it). I haven't even d/l any of S2 of DLM yet, but I will...eventually. Maybe I'll start tomorrow. *puts it on list of things to do*

Oh, and one more thing about FS - there are lots of sites out there with episode clips, so at least there's that.

The next time I dl DLM, I'll send it to you. I had S2E5, but deleted it after I was done.

Had so much fun with H and her fiancee this weekend, so I stayed til today instead. They were going in to Bergen today anyway, so I went back with them. We've been to Ikea. I love Ikea. H says hi back and thanks, Bijal.

Ohh, and before we left Friday, my 13 Going on 30 DVD came. Whee! I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but I'm totally doing that tonight. Aw, and you're so sweet letting me borrow your book as well, Pea. I'll send it back when I'm done with it. I'm assuming it's yours and you want it back, yeah?
