Britney Spears is making a cameo in a Pussycat Dolls video — but isn't actually interacting with the group on set.

The 26-year-old shot her scenes for the tune "When I Grow Up" at the WB lot in Burbank, CA Wednesday while the Dolls filmed in Hollywood.

"It was carefully planned out," a set source told Usmagazine.com.

"In the scene shot [Wednesday], Britney is driving in a car," the set source told Us. "They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic — that is it.

"It is genius and you will love it!" said the source.

"Of course, Britney looks hot and blonde," the insider added.

The Pussycat Dolls filmed their scene in a blue convertible Chevy Imapla. "They are singing and in traffic — looking hot," the insider explained.

"It is a very short sequence, but she [Britney] had a lot of fun with it," the source told Us. "Britney really likes the Dolls' music and when she saw them on the MTV [Movie Awards], she was totally down to do the video."

and!! EXCITING NEWS!! Looks like Britney is starting her OWN video for Radar!!

"The theme is her and her girlfriends are going to be looking all around London trying to find a boy who she met in a club," Rudolph told the New York Post's PopWrap. "Every time they think they have him, it's someone else."

Spears will also head behind the camera for the clip, co-directing the video, Rudolph confirmed.

"She will be behind the camera as much as possible; she wants to make sure it's exactly right," he said.

The pop singer will head to England next week for the shoot.

Producer Guy Sigsworth Signed On For 6th Album
Guy Sigsworth, producer for Bjork, Imogen Heap, Alanis Morissette, and Britney (produced "Everytime" for Britney's 2004 release "In The Zone") has signed on to work with Britney for her upcoming album due out later in the year, according to LAtimes.com.

Sigsworth, who is also currently producing tracks for Korn's lead singer Jonathan Davis, says he might experiment with Britney and Davis in the studio: It's weird to think I'm doing him and Britney at the same time. I don't know if I'll try to persuade them to do a duet together. That might be pushing it too far."

Can you imagine a screaming Britney? That'd be sick. Just 1 track. About the paparazzi? I can see it.

Let's recount. Producers signed on for the 6th album: JR Rotem, Sean Garrett, and now Guy Sigsworth. RIP "Blackout." Almost.

Can you just imagine how tempted these people must be. They really would be paid huge amounts for leaking any obtaining confidential information behind Britney's medical condition (which is still up for speculation). Poor girl- can't even have her basic rights to privacy.

Could Britney Win An Emmy?
After one all-too-brief season of Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, who would have ever thought that someday you might hear an awards presenter say, "And the Emmy goes to... Britney Spears"? Well, the pop star has come one step closer to making that into a reality with her inclusion on the ballot of possible Emmy nominees.

For her double-shot guest appearance as Abby on CBS hit How I Met Your Mother, Brit-Brit is one of 41 actresses on the official ballot released by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to its voters. Keep in mind, this is the list that is whittled down to the final nominees for the September ceremony.

Other notable names also up for Academy consideration are Sarah Silverman for her guest shot on Monk; Mary-Kate Olsen, who won over many Weeds fans during her extended run as a pot-dealing Christian on the Showtime hit; Alyssa Milano for her role as Billie on My Name is Earl; and Scrubs star Sarah Chalke, who is on the ballot for guest-starring as Brit's boss on How I Met Your Mother.

We'll find out just how well Britney fared when the final nominees for this year's Emmys are announced later this summer.
