The 1996 album is my favorite album of their's. I still prefer when they sing R&B and that was heavy on this album.

Still so confused cause I remember being a fan related to both albums
 did they come out together for us in Canada?Cause remember the red album and had both albums  __________________

The red cover was the Canada/UK release in 1996. Then when Canada and UK were getting their second album, "Backstreet's Back", the US was getting the first album with the same cover as Backstreet's Back, only self titled.

Well BSB were famous in Canada and Europe and no one knew them in the USA, until the following year, and while they were making their fame overseas, Lou Pearlman was creating NSync. Stealing their USA debut kinda, at least that's how I see it. Not NSync's fault, Lou was just a greedy man.
 So they got a debut when we already had an album! |

This was one of the first TV spots I saw for them ON YTV Canada:
Because of the two that is also why there are 2, "I'll Never Break Your Heart" music videos. I'm not 100% certain but I think Kevin's wife, Kristen makes an appearance in the beginning of the first version of the video!  |

 well not a lot but may have seen that spot More like would have been Much catching them on TV __________________

Much Music with Rick the DJ interviews them a lot too!
Plus there's an alternate Get Down video that features the host of YTV at the time, Tarzan Dan, dancing above their heads. He's at the 1.:35 Mark! |

Rick is on Entertainment Tonight Canada, or at least he was after his Much Music days.
Yeah they have a version without YTV host Tarzan Dan too. |
