That was quite amusing.

Sometimes, thought, I had to feel sorry for Drue because he cared about Jen a great deal but he was always hiding it because he was afraid to be hurt again. Jen may have scorned the idea of going to the prom with him but it worked out because he kept her from falling off the back of a boat. He's a real Leo Dicaprio that one. hehe.

You could definitely see that Drue really cared for Jen but often showed that feeling in unusual ways. I also felt sorry for him at times. He had a lot of the same parental problems that Jen had but at least Jen had Grams. He would show this outer prankster/bad boy side of himself but he had a lot of personal inner turmoil that he would try to hide.

I hated that we never got to see what could have developed, one way or another, with Jen and Drue. I guess the powers that be just wanted to show Jen getting screwed over by a guy like Charlie in season 5.

And ITA, WBoverlay, TPTB made stupid decisions all the time, but the Jen/Drue scenes during season 4, especially in The Graduate makes me wonder about them, they could have worked together. They were great to watch

That wallpaper is great. I am re-watching all Dawson's creek from the start and have just started watching season 4 and drue just came into it. I think that these two had amazing chemistry but then again I think Michelle has loads of chemistry with all male members of the cast. But yeah I would have loved to see these two together. Pity Drue never made it back for season 5.

That actually happened alot on Dawson's Creek. Sorta OT but I also loved Jen with Pacey and that storyline was totally dropped too.
