Allen Ditches Paris Pic for London Project Source: Variety April 18, 2006 from ComingSoon.net Variety says that Woody Allen has suddenly scrapped plans to shoot a movie -- in which David Krumholtz and Michelle Williams had recently been cast -- in Paris this summer and returned to a previous concept of shooting a third film in London, following up on last year's Match Point and the upcoming Scoop. The Paris film's budget was reportedly escalating and the London pic emerged as a more attractive option from a production standpoint. The new project will be a completely different one from the Paris plan, with a different cast, but the producing team of Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Gareth Wiley will remain the same. | There have been rumors that she signed on for Open Hearts, but nothing official has been announced. Michelle is said to have been offered a part in Up to the Ground, but there is no indication yet that she accepted the role. | Brooke, I believe that Michelle is playing the lead in Unnatural Girl. | Some news on The Hottest State: Ethan Hawke has signed on to direct and adapt his own novel (why doesn't he go the whole hog and take all the roles as well?) The Hottest State. Signed on for a role is Michelle Williams who will play one half of a couple of aspiring performers in New York grappling with questions of self-identity and emotion that neither is equipped to handle.
