you're welcome, Laura! its so awesome to see Michelle on a movie poster with such a large role with 2 mainstream actors. although i really dont care what she's in---she always picks great, challenging roles and is so amazing to watch.

i love her smaller indie parts just as much. this movie looks very exciting.

no problem, everyone.

i found this over at the Ryan Gosling board posted the end of January. i dont think its been posted here. i knew she was doing Blue Valentine, but it was unclear if it had filmed yet, etc... and i didnt know Ryan was involved. hopefully this is still all revelant. i do think they may have pushed filming back due to the Heath Ledger tragedy.

The casting team will hold an open casting call Feb. 3 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Morro Bay.

The team is looking for a girl age 4-7 to play Frankie, who is outgoing and curious.

The role is described as a lead. No previous acting experience is required. Casting agents say they are looking for “real” rather than “cute.”

Auditioners don’t need to bring or prepare anything. The casting call is set to run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The church is at 692 Piney Way.

In the film, Frankie is the daughter of David and Cindy, played respectively by Gosling and Williams—both Oscar-nominated actors.

Gosling starred in “The Notebook,” “Fracture” and “Remember the Titans.” In 2001, he filmed “Murder by Numbers” in San Luis Obispo County with Sandra Bullock.

Williams appeared in “Brokeback Mountain” and starred on the television show “Dawson’s Creek.”

They will. I remember a quote from the director or producer or someone who works in that film and they said they would wait until Michelle is ready to starting filming. Michelle is now working on another movie and so is Ryan so it's going to take a while before they can start shooting.
