that being said, i don't think it's appropriate to post pictures of michelle in her grieving period. this must be intensely hard for her and i'm sure the added intrusion of the media only makes it worse. as fans, i think we should respect her privacy during this time. that's just my opinion, though.

Could not agree more. I was SO beyond angry when I saw that video on TMZ of the paparazzi recording and snapping pictures of Michelle and Matilda arriving back in New York

I saw that video on TMZ. I wish they would just leave Michelle and Matilda alone and let them grieve in peace.

"It has just broken everybody's heart in my family," Larry Williams, Michelle's dad, told The Daily Telegraph.

"My heart goes out to everyone, his family, my family, we are just very saddened. The saddest thing is his daughter, whom he just loved dearly."

PageSix.com reports that now that two-year-old Matilda is left to grow up without her doting father, the responsibility to keep Heath Ledger's memory alive falls partly on her famous godfather, Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jake, Heath and Matilda's mom Michelle Williams, bonded on the set of their Academy Award-winning hit Brokeback Mountain, for which they all received Oscar nominations.

"Heath and I are best friends now making the film was very intense for us," said Jake, 27, who played Heath's sheep-herding love interest in the Blockbuster hit. He described being Matilda's godfather as "an amazing honor."

"I remember being in rehearsal, and the two of them had googly eyes with each other," he has said of the romance between Matilda's parents.

There are already concerns about how Matilda, at such a young age, will be affected by the passing of her father.

Heath Ledger lavished gifts on his only child. He regularly brought Matilda to the high-end SoHo store Calypso Kids where he spoiled the little tyke, buying her life-size stuffed animals and anything she wanted, especially ice cream, a saleswoman told the New York Post.

Despite her unimaginable loss, Matilda should expect to have an extended family in the Gyllenhaals.

Jake's sister, Maggie, befriended Ledger during the filming of their upcoming Batman sequel The Dark Knight. Maggie, 30, and Peter Saarsgard, whose daughter, Ramona, is one year younger than Matilda, also own a Brooklyn brownstone nine blocks away - a mere five minutes on foot from the Hoyt Street townhouse Heath and Michelle formerly shared.

Meanwhile, at 3 am New York time Matilda's godmother Busy Philipps, who Michelle befriended on the set of Dawson's Creek, arrived at her home in anticipation of Matilda and her mother's return from Sweden.

While information about Heath's will is still unclear, Matilda stands to inherit millions. He was paid well over $3 million per role.

^ I think, despite whatever the reason was, they were still in love. That I have no doubt of. Heath himself even said she was his soulmate.

Fox News Talk Network host John Gibson announced the sad and tragic death of actor Heath Ledger on Tuesday by mocking him and making light of his untimely passing.

We've been on this creep's show before and we will boycott his show in the future, unless he issues an apology.

Here's a rundown of what happened:

"Playing an audio clip of the iconic quote, 'I wish I knew how to quit you' from Ledger’s gay romance movie Brokeback Mountain, Gibson disdainfully quipped, 'Well, he found out how to quit you.' Laughing, Gibson then played another clip from Brokeback Mountain in which Ledger said, 'We’re dead,' followed by his own, mocking 'We’re dead' before playing the clip again."

Gibson called Ledger a "weirdo" with a "serious drug problem" and suggested that Ledger killed himself because he had "a serious position in the (stock) market" or perhaps "watched the Clinton-Obama debate last night. I think he was an Edwards guy, cause he saw his Edwards guy was just completely irrelevant."

I'm still in toally shock over all this. And i got one thing to say. Leave Heaths family and friends alone...let them grive. Alone just let them be, special Matilda and Michelle.
I just think all this going on now is crasy...it's really strange.
I myself is staving as far away from any gossip site right now.
It just feels like they want to make him into something that just isn't him.
